A Nordic Avant-Garde fashion label based in Copenhagen, Denmark. BARBARA í GONGINI is a fashion designer from the Faroe Islands creating visionary clothing with an experimental approach to form, where complexity and minimalism is uncovered in one and the same.

The BARBARA í GONGINI collection represent two lines of womenswear - BARBARA í GONGINI - the high-end Avant-Garde line and - THE BLACK LINE by BARBARA í GONGINI - the diffusion line. The two extreme points are seen as a coherent collection.

The design process is comprised by high quality and artistic responsibility. The BARBARA í GONGINI collection aim to deliver the best qualities of fabric and to follow the sustainability principle where possible.  BARBARA í GONGINI was nominated for the Ethical Award in 2010 by the Danish Fashion Award Committee.

BARBARA í GONGINI is an active participant in the Nordic art discourse working interdisciplinary in close collaboration with various artists in film, music and photography which sets the tone for the creative process within itself.
